Putting a Little Technology, Learning, and Community (TLC) into Higher Education

This presentation explores the promise and pitfalls of technology use in Higher Education, with a special focus on the community college. The emphasis is placed on the Technology available to educators, the Learning outcomes that have been associated with these technologies, and the continuing efforts to maintain the human touch-or a sense of Community-in the age of technology. The material presented in this workshop was developed as part of a national research project for the book, Taking a Big Picture Look at Technology, Learning, and the Community College.
